 Exciting Changes to the EAC facility!As some of you may know, the Essex Art Center received the MCC Facility Grant for $95,000.00 in May 2009. In order to received this funding we need to match this amount by May 2011. You can help! Any amount will be greatly appreciated. With the support of many generous donors we have currently raised $47,000. These supporters include: We have already made some wonderful changes at the Art Center and with your help, we can reach our goal to make our facility even better. The Essex Art Center plays a crucial role in the Merrimack Valley and surrounding communities by providing affordable art classes for all ages, and showcasing area artists in our two galleries. Once the funds are matched we will proceed with a change to our entrance and redesign of the gallery, as well as moving our office and adding another classroom. We are presently working with an architect, Rob Bramhall, and our landlord, Gary Sidell, and if we can raise the funds we hope to start on construction in Dec 2010. |
