Artist's Statement:
My current work is sculptural and large scale. I'm often referred to as the "texture guy" because of the highly active surface I create.
On the Ground Bird Bath
Approach to teaching:
My classes are run as an open studio and are student driven. My job as an instructor is to help students succeed with everything that they attempt by providing information about techniques, design and functionality considerations, even addressing the underlying aesthetics and historical context of an object. My goal is to help each student grow as an individual artist with a personal vision.
